Understanding: "Vise"

Bench vise, also known as vise, bench vise. Bench vise is a universal fixture used to hold the workpiece. The device is on the workbench to clamp and process the workpiece and is an indispensable tool for the fitter's workshop. Rotary disc body can be rotated to rotate the workpiece to a suitable working position.

use

Bench vise is an essential tool for fitters, and is also the reason for the name of the fitter because most of the work of the fitter is done on vise, such as saws, files, files, and the assembly and disassembly of parts. Mounted on a bench, the width of the jaws is the nominal specification. Common specifications range from 75mm to 300mm. The use of bench vise: The device is on the workbench to clamp and process the workpiece. It is an indispensable tool for the fitter's workshop.

structure

Its structure consists of a caliper body, a base, a guide nut, a screw, and a jaw body. The movable caliper body is slidingly fitted with the guide rails of the fixed caliper body. The screw is installed on the movable pliers and can be rotated but cannot move axially and cooperates with the screw nut installed in the fixed pliers body. When the handle is rotated to rotate the lead screw, the movable clamp body can be moved axially relative to the fixed clamp body to play a clamping or relaxing role. The spring is fixed to the screw by means of the retaining ring and the split pin. The role of the spring is to allow the movable pliers to exit timely when the lead screw is relaxed. In the fixed and movable jaws, steel jaws are provided and fixed with screws. The cross face pattern is formed on the working face of the jaw, so that the workpiece is not easily slipped after being clamped. The jaws are hardened by heat treatment and have good wear resistance. The fixed pliers is mounted on the transposition seat, and can rotate around the pivot axis of the transposition seat. When the rotation is in the required direction, the clamping handle is pulled to tighten the clamping screw, and the clamping disc can be fixed under the action of the clamping disc. The clamp body is tight. There are three bolt holes on the swivel seat for fixing with the clamp table.

The specifications of the bench vise are expressed as the width of the jaws, and are 100 mm, 125 mm, 150 mm, and the like. Bench vise is a universal fixture used to hold the workpiece. There are two types of fixtures, fixed and rotary.

The rotary table vise has the structure and working principle as shown in the figure:

There are two types of threads in the bench vise:

1 The screw fixes the jaw on the body of the jaw, and the tightening screw tightens the fixed jaw body - the connection function;

2Rotate the screw to drive the movable body to move relative to the fixed body. Turn the rotation of the screw to the linear motion of the movable body. The movement of the screw is transmitted to the movable body. The thread is the transmission function. Transmission thread. The thread on the outer surface of the cylinder is an external thread, and the thread on the inner surface of the circular hole is an internal thread, and the internal thread and the external thread often appear in pairs.
