Explosion-proof camera

Explosion-proof cameras belong to explosion-proof monitoring products and are the cross product of explosion-proof industries and monitoring industries. Because they cannot use conventional camera products in high-risk flammable and explosive sites, they need products with explosion-proof functions and relevant certificates issued by national authorities. Can be called an explosion-proof camera.

Classification by application  

According to the application location, explosion-proof cameras are mainly divided into two categories: mining explosion-proof cameras and factory explosion-proof cameras.

Explosion Hazardous Location Division  

According to the frequency and duration of explosive atmospheres, hazardous areas are divided into different regions. Gas sites are divided into three regions: Zone 0, Zone 1 and Zone 2. Dust sites are divided into three zones: Zone 20, Zone 21 and Zone 22 .

The electrical equipment used in Zone 0 shall be designed , tested and identified in accordance with the relevant provisions of EN 50284 and IEC 60079-26 for class д , category ( gas ) electrical equipment .

In Zone 1 during normal operation , explosive atmospheres may occur in the explosive atmosphere in the form of gas , vapor or mist. Zone 1 is a typical application of explosion-proof electrical equipment. Standard EN50014~  

EN 50020, EN 50039, and IEC 60079-0, -1, -2. -7, -11, -18, -25 have specified electrical equipment for use in a district 1 location.  

In Zone 2 during normal operation , explosive mixtures in the form of gases , vapours, or mists are unlikely to occur in explosive atmospheres and , if present , occur only occasionally and for a short period of time.

Under normal circumstances , "short time" means that the duration is not more than 2 hours.  

IEC60079-15 Standard EN50021 and electrical equipment used to do a region 2 corresponding regulations, must also satisfy the common insulation resistance, impact energy and power dissipation requirements.

Dust sites  

District 20  

The EN50281-1-1 standard specifies the structure and design of the electrical equipment housing used in Zone 20 . IEC 60241-11 supplements the electrical equipment used in Zone 20 , including intrinsically safe explosion protection. Zone 20 Application Category 1 (Dust) Electrical Equipment.  

District 21

Mills, coal, grain warehouses, and packaging lines are surrounded by typical 21- zone locations. In Zone 21 , explosive dust mixtures may occur due to dust leakage. In addition, the accumulation of dust on the surface of electrical equipment is also a hidden danger of factory safety, and should be given sufficient attention.  

Zone 21 must use Type 2 (dust) explosion-proof electrical equipment.
