According to Washington, August 11th: The US Commerce Department announced on Wednesday that the United States imported 243,553,440 kilograms of unprocessed aluminum in June, an increase of 102.9% from 120,056,483 kilograms in May, and an increase of 64.7% from 147,850,093 kilograms in the same period last year.
From January to June, the total amount of aluminum imported from the United States was 881,444,449 kg.
US exports of unprocessed aluminum in June were 9,679,823 kg, an increase of 80.1% from 5,375,133 kg in May and 17.7% from 11,766,398 kg in the same period last year. From January to June, US aluminum exports were 37,853,025 kg.
