Guan Xiyou took over the post of Chairman of China Machine Tool Industry Association

Abstract Mr. Wang Xu, Chairman of the 7th Council of the China Machine Tool Industry Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Beiyi Machine Tool Co., Ltd., has been serving as the first director of the 7th Council since July 26, 2013, and his term ended on July 25, 2014. According to the association's bylaws, from July 26, 2014, to July 25, 2015, Mr. Guan Xiyou, Chairman of the 7th Council of the China Machine Tool Industry Association and Chairman of Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd., took over as the second director of the board. During his tenure, Mr. Wang Xu faced a rapidly changing market demand landscape and an industry undergoing deep transformation and upgrading. Under his leadership, the 7th Council and Standing Committee actively worked to support member units and industry enterprises. They focused on issues such as advocating for member interests, regulating industry behavior, and strengthening internal development. Their efforts led to significant progress in the association’s operations and contributed to positive developments within the machine tool industry. Following his appointment, Mr. Guan Xiyou is expected to continue leading the Council in fulfilling its mission of serving members and driving industry growth. He will work to further advance reforms and promote technological upgrades, ensuring that the industry remains competitive and sustainable in the long term. This transition marks an important step in the ongoing development of the China Machine Tool Industry Association.
