Guan Xiyou took over the post of Chairman of China Machine Tool Industry Association

Abstract Mr. Wang Xu, Chairman of the 7th Council of the China Machine Tool Industry Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Beiyi Machine Tool Co., Ltd., has been serving as a key leader since July 26, 2013. His term initially lasted until July 25, 2014. According to the association's bylaws, on July 26, 2014, Mr. Guan Xiyou, Chairman of the 7th Council of the China Machine Tool Industry Association and Chairman of Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd., officially took over the role as the second director of the board. During his tenure, Mr. Wang Xu faced a rapidly changing market environment and an industry in transition. He led the 7th Council and its Standing Committee in supporting member companies and industry enterprises. Focused on areas such as advocacy, standardization, and internal development, he initiated various initiatives that contributed to significant progress within the association. These efforts helped drive the industry forward during a critical period of transformation. After assuming leadership, Mr. Guan Xiyou emphasized continuing the association’s mission of serving members and promoting sustainable development. He pledged to support further reforms and industrial upgrades, aiming to make new contributions to the growth and stability of the machine tool sector. This transition marked an important step in maintaining the momentum of the association’s work and ensuring continued support for the industry.
