KZT series console is an auxiliary equipment for high-voltage test transformer. It is used together with test transformer for pressure and leak test.
Test transformer console operation instructions:
1. Check whether the equipment is in good condition when unpacking; in particular, if the terminal is loose, whether the brush of the pressure regulator is in good contact with the surface of the regulator. Operate strictly in accordance with the operating procedures. Read the instructions carefully before use. Do not use it for a long time. Check the insulation resistance of the main loop to the ground before applying it again. The value should not be lower than 1.5 MΩ. Connect the console to the test transformer as shown in the wiring diagram. Take care not to forget the grounding wire. After careful inspection, it can be tested on electricity.
2. Turn on the power and rotate the regulator handwheel to the zero position. The zero position switch closes and the power indicator lights up (indicating that the regulator output is zero).
3. Press the start button, the contactor pulls in, the regulator receives power, and the power indicator lights up.
4. Rotate the regulator handwheel slowly and evenly, clockwise, and watch the meter reading closely. When raising to the desired voltage, stop turning the handwheel. After testing the required time, rotate the handwheel in reverse until Regulator back to zero.
5. After the test is completed, press the stop button, the contactor is powered off, the work indicator light is off, and the zero indicator light is on.
6. The device is provided with over-current protection, and the over-current relay is selected with a transfer switch according to the over-current value required for the normal test of the test object. When the relay is set at the factory, it is set at 80% of the set value. When a small load is used, it should be re-tuned according to the load current to ensure the safety of the equipment. In the process of boosting the test object, if a short circuit or overcurrent occurs, the overcurrent relay will act and the power supply will be cut off, which means that the product is not qualified. At this time, the regulator should be turned to zero.
7. KZT series console with closing, timing, alarm and other functions.
