The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) announced the results of the state supervision and spot checks of the 37 categories of product quality, of which the qualified rate for construction waterproof coiled products was 81.7%
A total sample survey was conducted in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Shaanxi. There are 300 building waterproofing coil products produced by 292 enterprises in 24 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government of Gansu.
The spot check was based on the national standard "PVC waterproof membrane" GB12952-2003, "Polymer waterproof material-sheet" GB18173.1-2006, "Elastomer modified bitumen waterproof membrane" GB18242-2008, "Plastic body Modified Asphalt waterproofing membrane "GB18243-2008", "Asphalt composite tire flexible waterproof membrane" JC/T690-2008 requirements, the construction of waterproof membrane products soluble content, impermeability, heat resistance, etc. 37 67 items were tested.
Spot checks revealed that 55 types of products did not meet the requirements of the standard, involving soluble content, elongation at break, heat aging, maximum peak-time elongation, and low-temperature flexibility.
