Different types of stickers

Two basic types of mixture: permanent and removable. Each type can be made from a variety of materials; the choice of material depends on the surface being labeled and the label will have the appropriate conditions and the required life. The most popular label adhesives are acrylic, rubber and water based.

If a label is to be exposed to a very humid environment, such as a freezer, refrigerator, or cooler, water-based adhesives are not practical. They decompose, and the label can fall off of the product, regardless of the surface to which they are applied. Water-based adhesives should only be used in a dry environment. The rubber whose main component is a binder is preferably its viscosity. They are prone to exposure to ultraviolet rays during prolonged periods of failure. If the label is not exposed to sunlight, this type of adhesive can also work properly.

Acrylic adhesives are easy to work with in applications because they can be easily moved around. Once the acrylic gel has dried, it is permanent. This type of label adhesive is suitable for those who need a label to withstand long-lasting products.

The six categories of stickers include permanent, peelable, super-peeled, frozen or repaired creams, highly viscous and electrostatically adsorbed. For the previous label adhesive selection, many factors must be considered. These include the size of the label, the appearance of the texture to be marked and the level of activity required; some items such as retail labels must be removed at some point, others such as shipping labels, can remain unchanged indefinitely.

If the intent of installing it on the label has never been removed, or just a solvent removes it, it is called permanent. In some cases, before a tag reaches a permanent status, it has a short time that it can move. These tags are often referred to as repositioning.

The peelable label is: It can be peeled off to the surface. The surface appearance does not deteriorate, and there is no residue left behind. This type of label can usually be used twice or three times without losing its viscosity. Super-peeled labels are commonly used in book covers and glass, where no residue is acceptable.

The label will be exposed to freezing temperatures and a freezer or frost repair adhesive is preferred. They resisted freezing without peeling or cracking. If a label needs to safely adhere to a dirty, deformed or rough surface, a highly viscous glue is necessary. Electrostatic adsorption labels do not use traditional bonding, but insist on using only very smooth surfaces such as glass that are electrostatically charged.
