How SolidWorks can help you make frozen pizzas!

Although you enjoy the warmth of spring, you might not think much about frozen food. But have you ever wondered how your favorite frozen pizza or ice cream makes its way from the production line to your kitchen? How do food distributors manage to keep thousands of people fed every day with fresh and tasty products? The answer lies in advanced industrial freezing and cooling technologies like those provided by Cryogenic Equipment Services (CES), which plays a key role in keeping food safe, fresh, and delicious. As a top manufacturer of low-temperature industrial freezers and chillers, CES is continuously improving its equipment to meet growing market demands. They made a major shift from AutoCAD 2D to SolidWorks, allowing them to create more accurate custom designs and reduce lead times significantly. This transition has helped them streamline their design and manufacturing processes, especially when working on large components and sheet metal solutions. Before 2007, CES relied on traditional 2D design tools, but as customer needs evolved, they needed a more efficient 3D platform. With SolidWorks, they gained access to a powerful community, strong dealer support, and an active user base—resources that made the transition smoother and more effective. According to design engineer Ed Schneid, “The SolidWorks community offers great support, an engaged user network, and continuous improvements that make the move to 3D much less intimidating.” By using SolidWorks Professional and regularly updating their software, CES ensures that their industrial refrigeration systems are built with precision and efficiency. This helps maintain the quality of frozen foods, so that your next frozen pizza or ice cream tastes just as good as something made fresh at a local shop. Next time you enjoy a cold treat, take a moment to appreciate the technology and expertise behind it—thank you, Cryogenic Equipment Services and SOLIDWORKS!

Solenoid Armature Tube OD 13mm

BRANDO is a Solenoid Valve Armature Plunger manufacturer and exporter in Ningbo, China, which has more than 10 years experience.

The armature assembly or anchor system is the very important component of Solenoid Valve. An internal stainless steel plunger moves up and down to seal on the top and bottom valve seats. Brando provides armatures in multiple sizes depending on the application's flow requirement. Four common pneumatic functions are available which include:

1. 2/2 normally closed(NC),
2. 3/2 normally closed(NC),
3. 2/2 normally open(NO),
4. 3/2 normally open(NO).

The seals in the plunger are NBR (standard), but FKM, HNBR, PTFE, EPDM are available for different media and temperatures. Most of our armatures are designed to accept AC and DC voltages. Some armatures are DC only for low watt applications.

Brando offers flexibility as the connection to the seat cavity can be with a thread/o-ring seal style or o-ring flange style that requires a mounting plate.
