Some time ago, due to improper operation of the operator, the rotor was not fixed, but the rotor was held by one hand and the start button was pressed by the other hand, resulting in an accident at work. Although the press can be started with one hand, it was decided to transform it into a two-handed start to ensure safe operation.
There are special hands-on operating systems on the market, but they are expensive. In order to ensure safe operation and save cost, a two-time relay can be realized by using one time relay, one intermediate relay and two double normally open buttons, and the transformation cost is not high.
As shown in the drawing, there are two start buttons after the modification, and each button has two sets of normally open contacts. Time relay setting time, (about 1s), two buttons must be pressed within the set time, otherwise KT normally closed will be disconnected before KA pulls in, the solenoid valve can not move. The two-hand operation after the transformation not only avoids the illegal operation, but also ensures the safety of the operator.
