After more than 10 years of joint efforts, a large number of new types of new types of waterproof materials have been successfully developed and successively put into use, and achieved gratifying results. The new building waterproof materials mainly include synthetic polymer waterproof membranes, polymer modified asphalt waterproof membranes, waterproof coatings, waterproof sealing materials, plugging materials, and rigid waterproof materials. At present, domestic waterproof materials have basically ensured the requirements for the use of high, medium, and low grade waterproof materials in key construction projects, industrial and agricultural buildings, and other construction projects.
