In an effort to address the global energy crisis, scientists worldwide have been working on light nuclear fusion. However, one unexpected breakthrough came from a farmer in Hebei Province, Zhang Jingyuan, who claimed to have achieved significant progress in this field using radon gas and specialized generators. His work allegedly challenged established physics principles, including Einstein's theory of relativity.
For decades, Zhang has been conducting his research from a modest home in Zhangjiazhuang, Luquan City. Despite limited resources, he has managed to develop devices that claim to produce heat through nuclear fusion and even generate electricity in ways that defy conventional understanding. His experiments include creating power generators that reportedly operate outside the bounds of traditional electrotechnics and physics.
Zhang’s journey into science began early. After leaving school at 19, he worked as a physics teacher before pursuing independent research. Over the years, he has invested nearly a million yuan of his own money, with only a small portion coming from government grants. His family, particularly his wife and children, have supported his efforts financially and emotionally, despite the financial strain.
In the 1980s, Zhang traveled to Beijing to collaborate with scientists at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He returned home with new knowledge and continued his research independently. In 1996, his work on radon gas fusion was recognized by the Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Committee, marking a milestone in his career. However, due to low efficiency and technical limitations, the project eventually stalled.
Later, Zhang turned his attention to developing a unique power generator. According to him, this device produces electricity at speeds faster than expected, which could challenge existing theories about electromagnetic and relativistic principles. He also claims that the generator has potential applications in medicine, such as enhancing plant growth and even showing anti-cancer effects in animal tests.
Despite these claims, Zhang faces skepticism from the scientific community. However, some government departments have conducted preliminary tests, finding the data consistent with his findings. If fully validated, his work could revolutionize our understanding of physics and energy production.
Today, Zhang remains determined to continue his research. His greatest hope is for recognition and support so that his discoveries can be further explored and potentially benefit society. With the help of his family, especially his youngest daughter who assists in experiments, he continues to pursue his vision, driven by the belief that his work could offer new solutions to energy and health challenges.
