First, the lack of copper
The clinical manifestations are weight loss, anemia, proteinuria in postpartum, decreased milk production, hair fading, rough, slow growth of yak, often diarrhea, easy fracture, joint swelling, stiffness, hoof tip landing, red blood cells and hemoglobin decreased. This disease is caused by insufficient copper in the feed or excessive amounts of molybdenum, zinc, iron, lead and calcium carbonate. Control method: Mix copper sulfate with 0.5% of the feed salt, and let the cows eat for one time, every other day.
Second, iodine deficiency
The clinical manifestations are thyroid enlargement, slow growth, weight loss, anemia, hair loss, and decreased fertility. Symptoms manifested as lack of energy, stiff limbs, rapid breathing, rapid heartbeat and irregular rhythm, body muscles trembling, unstable standing, gait shaking, severe quadriplegia, anorexia, constipation or diarrhea, edema later, and soon died. Control method: injection with 0.9% sodium selenite, 5 to 10 ml of muscle injection per yak at each time, the amount of large cattle is added, and repeated injections every 10 to 20 days.
Fourth, zinc deficiency
Zinc-deficient cattle have rough and thick skin, similar to dermatitis symptoms, mainly in the nose, anus, vulva, tail tip, ear, hind limb, neck and so on. This disease is mainly caused by the lack of zinc in the feed, or the excessive calcium in the feed. Control method: Add 0.02% zinc sulphate or zinc carbonate to the feed, and severely inject 2-4 ml of zinc sulphate per kg body weight.
