Solar beer this kind of thing you will buy it?

If you mention Dutch beer, you just know Heineken, and you already out of it. Because "Solar Beer" has recently become the new Net Red in the Netherlands, this is due to a special crowd-funding campaign initiated by four young people with big brains.

Five years ago, Alex, Paul, Sander and Rick built the Oedipus brewery in Amsterdam. Four people immersed themselves in hard work. After numerous experiments and updates, they successfully invented the flavor of alcohol. New beer.

Oedipus beer has always adhered to the principle of environmental friendliness from the beginning. The four operators have conducted many research experiments on product packaging to ensure that their environmental pollution is minimized. Oedipus has also joined the plastic recycling activities and adheres to the principle of organic green in the brewing process.

But this is not enough! In order to make another change in environmental protection, they took a small step forward. The four people hit it off and decided to use solar power to make beer. In order to allow more ordinary people to join this fun and beneficial activity, Oedipus launched a crowdfunding campaign to install solar panels. The amount of crowdfunding is actually not large. It plans to install 16 solar panels, raising 8,500 euros, and the amount of personal investment, not less than 50 euros. In return, the funders don’t get the glittering Euro, but 25 bottles of beer made from solar energy.

It was originally a very small crowdfunding event, but never expected Oedipus to play this time. The crowds who bought crowdfunding were flocking. Due to the oversupply of people's purchases, Oedipus had to decide to increase the number of solar panels, installing a total of 24 blocks and raising the funding to 11,000 euros. In February of this year, the brewery has begun to install solar panels. Each solar panel can generate 221 kilowatt hours of electricity. In addition to being used for brewing and cooling, it also supplies power to the office area.

For this crowdfunding event, Oedipus will also launch new flavor solar beer. For most people, 50 Euro is indeed an ultra-small investment, but this is just a beginning, as the young people of Oedipus put it: “We did this activity and it was also for more people. See if everyone makes a little change and what miracles everyone will create."

About solar power, you must know

1. Solar energy is clean energy. Solar panels do not generate pollutants, waste, and noise during power generation.

2. Electricity produced by domestic solar panels, in addition to heating and power supply to household appliances, can also provide power for electric vehicles.

3. In 2015, the Netherlands installed 1.8 million new panels, generating 1.1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, equivalent to about 32 million households using electricity throughout the year.

4. In the Netherlands, unfinished electricity will automatically return to the power system. Many families will not only pay the electricity bill, but will also receive payment from the power company.
