1, manual mode

2, automatic cutting method

Before performing the cutting, first set the cutting method, the slit value and the cutting speed. There are three options for cutting: demonstration mode, oxygen gas mode, plasma mode. In the demonstration mode, pressing the START button will cause the cutter to track the cutting path at the programmed speed, but the cutting is not activated. In the oxygen gas mode and the plasma mode, pressing the START button is activated. In the oxygen gas mode, At the bottom of the window, there are three buttons: “Add”, “Set”, and “Cancel”. The lower right of the window shows the preset time delay. Pressing the “Add” button will extend the warm-up time until you press the “Set” button or the “Release” button. 3. Suspension method

In the unavoidable case, the cutting fails. At this time, press the STOP button to put the cutting machine in the pause state, and the controller has the ability to fully recover the cutting. After pressing “Back to Start”, the cutter will return to the initial cutting position of the sheet; press the “Back” or “Forward” button, the cutter will move backward or forward to any position where the workpiece is cut at the selected moving speed. Press START again and the cutter will re-cut at the programmed speed. Press the “Go to Punch Point” button and the controller allows the operator to move the torch directly to the punching point. After entering the puncture point information, press the “Enter” key to cut the device directly to the perforation you set. In the pause window, you can use all the functions of the manual button to allow the machine to move in any direction. Once the cutting device deviates from the original cutting path, a different window is displayed. At this time, the “Back to Path” and “Move Workpiece” buttons appear in the lower part of the display window. Pressing the "Back to Path" button will cause the cutter to return to the point of the original path. This feature is useful for checking or replacing parts of the device. 4, workpiece options

Press the “Workpiece Options” button to allow the operator to perform a series of custom operations on the current in-memory workpiece. There are three types of arrangement: in-line, staggered, and sleeve-type. This function enables simple nesting to achieve multiple cuts of the workpiece. Press the “Calibration” button and the correction window appears. Under this window, the workpiece can be aligned on the inclined plate.

After pressing the Enter key to select the workpiece, the selected workpiece appears in the display window, and the parameter area appears on the right side of the window. The operator can input parameters including the length, height, radius, introduction, lead line and type of the cut line of the workpiece. After pressing the "confirm" button, the workpiece graphic is selected to the main screen.

6, graphics manager

EDGE's graphics manager has text editing, graphics guidance, nesting and other functions. In the graphical manager window, press the “Text Edit” button to enter or edit the program code in ESSI or EIA format. Once you enter this window, the current part program in memory is displayed. If you want to edit a new workpiece, first press the “Delete” button to delete the current part program. Press the “Graphic Guide” button to edit the part program graphically. The EIA code can be directly inserted into the part program or create a part drawing. Press the "Manual Line Edit" button to allow the highlighted line to be edited in the text edit window, replace the text in the text edit window with the part selected from the part type window, or insert the selected part before the text line Or after these operations, the workpiece graphic changes at any time. The EDGE system also has a nesting function that allows the operator to categorize and nest a set of workpieces to maximize the use of the sheet. 7, set

Entering the setup menu, the operator can set the parameters required for the cutter.

(1) Cutting parameters These parameters include the size of the sheet, the cutting mode, the cutting speed, the slit value, the absolute or incremental mode of the RS-2740D program code, whether the speed F code is valid, and the pause time.

(2) Cutting Type The parameter controller has several standard cutting processing logics that allow the cutting process to configure timing for optimum performance. The oxygen gas mode and the plasma mode cutting timing are different. 1 In the oxygen gas mode, the operator can set the ignition time, warm-up time, piercing time, creep time, torch rise and fall time, when the cutting gas is turned off, and the time of exhaust gas according to actual needs. After setting these parameters, press the space bar to observe the timing graph. In the main screen, press the "File" button to enter the file function window. This window includes four buttons: "Load from Disk", "Save to Disk", "Load from Computer", "Load to Computer". EDGE has a floppy disk and a hard disk drive that allows users to create multiple folders of their own on the hard disk, create a folder with the "+" key, and delete the folder with a "-". After the operation selects the disk transfer, the reference area appears on the right side of the window, allowing the operator to input or select some parameters. For example: from where to load the file, where to load it, you can select the corresponding folder of the graphics library, memory, floppy disk, hard disk. The files to be delivered are all shown in the window. The user can select a file or a group of files, but only one artifact file can be loaded into the memory at a time. The file loaded into the hard disk folder can be a separate file name. After selecting the host delivery function, the reference area will appear on the right side of the window.
