Initial exploration of 20 million tons of large iron ore in Lop Nur, Xinjiang

Abstract It was learned from Ruoqiang County, Xinjiang that in 2013, the county explored a large-scale iron ore mine in the Erdao Bend and Shahewan areas north of the Lop Nur mine, with a preliminary proven reserve of 20 million tons. It was learned from Ruoqiang County, Xinjiang that in 2013 the county explored a large-scale iron ore in the Erdao Bend and Shahewan areas north of the Lop Nur mine, with a preliminary proven reserve of 20 million tons. This is another major discovery following the discovery of 1.3 million tons of large nickel mines in the region in September 2012.

It is understood that the iron ore is more than 70 kilometers away from the power grid of the Lop Nur Industrial Park and has good development conditions. At present, the roads in the mining area are being built. The road is about 73 kilometers long and 12 meters wide. The roads are basically accessible. It is expected to be completed and put into use in May.

“After the infrastructure such as water, electricity and roads in the mining area is well equipped, preliminary development of the iron ore can be carried out.” Liu Wenchun, deputy director of the Lop Nur Management Committee, told the reporter that the mine inspection team will increase inspections of the mining area. We will maintain the order of development of mineral resources, resolutely stop illegal activities such as piracy and illegal exploration, and ensure the rational implementation of ecological environmental protection and mining development.

Lop Nur is located in the northeastern part of the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang and in Ruoqiang County. The altitude of 780 meters is the lowest point in the Tarim Basin. “Lobbo” Mongolian is a lake with multiple waters. Due to its low terrain, Lop Nur was once the water-concentrating center of the Tarim Basin, with a total area of more than 100,000 square kilometers. It is rich in mineral resources and is known as the “treasure bowl” of Xinjiang. 51 kinds of minerals have been discovered, mainly known as potassium salt, gold, asbestos, jade and granite.

Uni®Mab is a high performance Protein A affinity chromatography medium, introduced by Nanomicrotechwithits patented technology developed in-house. This medium is based on the monodisperse porous poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) microspheres as the matrix, and a genetically modified protein A as the ligand, which ensures its high affinity binding of monoclonal antibodies and Fc fragment containing recombinant proteins (macromolecules). Uni®Mab has come with high mechanical strength and good pH stability. Even at a high flow rate, it still maintained a high dynamic binding capacity, meeting the demands from laboratory preparationto industrial production.
