Installation requirements and precautions for Greensen brand oil fume purifier

When designing the ventilation system for your stoves, it’s important to consider the corresponding air volume. Each stove typically requires around 4000m³/h of airflow. The overall air volume needed depends on the number of stoves as well as their placement. Based on these factors, you can choose the appropriate specifications and models for the purifiers. For the fans, the recommended air volume should match the purifiers closely. While this serves as a general guideline, the final decision should always be made by an engineer who can assess the specific conditions on site. It’s worth noting that if the fan's capacity exceeds the purifier's maximum air volume significantly, it may impair the purifier's effectiveness. Ideally, when selecting a fan, the focus should be on meeting the kitchen's exhaust needs while keeping the fan's air volume as low as possible to optimize the purifier's performance. The airflow passing through the purifier should ideally remain below 8m/s. The physical setup of the system also plays a crucial role. Ensure that the purifier is placed at least 4 meters away from the smoke hood outlet to maintain both fire safety and optimal purification results. Additionally, the distance between the purifier and the fan should be over 2 meters, with the purifier installed ahead of the fan. If the fan must be positioned before the purifier, avoid directing its airflow directly towards the purifier, as this could compromise the purifier's efficiency. Prior to installation, it’s advisable to conduct a trial run by powering the equipment for some time to verify that the electrodes inside the machine haven’t shifted due to transport or handling. The air inlets and outlets of the device can be rearranged, but remember to include a filter in the air intake direction. For safety reasons, ensure the equipment housing is properly grounded. Additionally, connect the oil drainage pipe securely. To guarantee safety, the purifier should ideally be integrated into the system so that it turns on and off simultaneously with the fan. However, if synchronization isn’t feasible, start the fan for approximately 10 minutes before activating the purifier, especially during colder months in northern regions where extended fan operation may be necessary. Conversely, when shutting down the system, turn off the purifier first, followed by the fan. By carefully considering these elements—airflow, positioning, safety measures, and operational procedures—you can create a highly efficient and safe ventilation system tailored to your specific needs.
