This partnership is expected to establish a 100 billion-yuan aluminum and deep processing industry base in Gongyi, which will not only boost local economic development but also support Chinalco’s long-term strategic transformation. Aluminum and aluminum deep processing remain the core pillar of Gongyi's economy, with the city accounting for 16.8% of the national production and 68% of the provincial output. As part of Zhengzhou City's "three-year multiplication and five-year transcendence" plan, Gongyi aims to build an internationally competitive aluminum and deep processing base and develop a research center for advanced aluminum smelting and processing technologies.
